Our other hats & TOOTHLESSWONDERS

We wear many hats in our lives. It's sort of our thing...we like to stay so busy that we can't see straight. OK, that's not quite how we like it, but that seems to be the norm.

I've had quite a hiatus from blogging lately and it got me thinking that I should share what I do with my time when I'm not shooting. I wish I was out shopping, having early-afternoon mimosas with the girls, and reading vanity fair by the pool, however....this is Ohio and I don't have a pool. ;-)

It's been months since we've shot a wedding. It's been half a year since we've had to plan and organize timelines for first looks. We spend our off season doing something other than eating, sleeping and breathing weddings. 

My days are filled with 'planning meetings' over coffee, documents scribbled up with sharpie marker and Skype meetings and creative brainstorming with our team. In our off-season, Justin and I provide branding and marketing services for a list of small businesses. We started our brand TOOTHLESSWONDERS about 4 years ago as a freelance design operation. Justin and I are the namesake of the company...we were once known as the toothlesswonders (we used to both pull out our false teeth and really freak people out!) 

We don't advertise, we don't market ourselves much...we've been sorta like a speak-easy for a few years and somehow managed to have grown into a full service branding team. We provide clients with services in all of their marketing areas; print, web, photo, video, etc... We're not claiming to be the newest and the best at what we do, but we do it with heart and originality!!

This is one of our most recent creative sites. We met Joe on one of our weekend trips to NYC, he was moonlighting as a server in our favorite sushi restaurant, and we sparked up a conversation that led us down the path to this wonderful, creative little peice.
This is Justin's favorite kind of design because it allows him to illustrate and sketch and be completely himself.

This sweet, (get it) site was so fun too! Because I got to eat all my photo subjects!! HAHA.
