Yes folks, it's here again, yet another installment of Sunday Surplus. I'm horizontal on the couch, netflixing with some hot tea (who drinks hot tea in the summer?)
*Shew. Glad that one is over. We had a busy week, Justin worked between coaching soccer and running the refreshments on the course for the annual invitational at the golf club and helping me about 56 hours between Wednesday and Saturday. I, on the other hand, didn't do that much work. I went to the pool on Friday, and sitting in the sun is exhausting ;-).
*The wedding Saturday was stellar, we stayed until almost midnight! Then got up early for my sister's baby shower today, which of course I planned, and organized...I'm a party planning control freak, no one else is allowed to do it, hehe. Everything was great, I am so elated to have a niece!! Its true, the bond of sisters is found in memories like these, I can't wait to be a part of this little girl's life, and have another layer to my relationship with my sister.
*My brother's flight left this morning for their deployment. His training in Texas culminated today, and for them I feel relieved that they're able to begin their journey, the sooner they start, the sooner it's over!! Keep praying for their unit, and all others to return home safely. God Speed Troops.
*We did a slideshow at the wedding again, and I am really excited to be able to do that. I want to know how other photographers are comfortable with leaving their macs sit unattended on a table with a bunch of prospectively intoxicated strangers though, I'm just too attached to this thing. <3
*I wrote tomorrow's sneak peek post whilst sitting on the sidelines of Justin's soccer game, where he scored 3 goals. #1 reason I am so attached to this computer! I don't miss anything because I am in an office.
*I ate the same thing for breakfast, lunch and dinner and loved it every time.
*The humidity in Ohio is obnoxious. My camera fogged up today when going from inside to outside...really?
*I love my new car.
*And because a post is always better with a photo...here is one of the classics from this weekend!
Have a great week!
