Mondays after wedding weekends. Renee + Joe Sneak-Peek!

Today I woke up in a fog, a daze, a humid and muggy, thick and sticky haze...just like it feels outside. This weekend was super great. We started on Friday packing up equipment and packing our overnight bag, and buying a car. Yeah, ehh, hem...we just threw that one in there for good measure real quick like. We bought a car,  a JEEP on Friday!! YAY! Finally, the culmination of my late night internet surfing until the wee hours of the morning has finally produced a tangible, real live car, not just pictures of one!! YIPP HOORAY!
So, we had intentions of taking our bikes up to Toledo for Sunday after the wedding, but that didn't work out, but I was happy just to be going on a little road trip with Justin in the new car with the super awesome skyslider sunroof. And half way there, we realized we forgot our dress clothes. HA! Yeah, that was my fault. I tried every angle to blame it on Justin, but there was no denying, especially when my mom confirmed...I've done that too many times to deny it.
We got our clothes at Meijer, (and took them back the next day). We missed our exit on the turnpike, and after a slight panic attack, we busted a U turn in the middle of I80 (shhh, don't tell).
The wedding day went off without a snag. Except the isle runner indecent of 2011, lol. Besides that and the 98+ degree weather, we were rockin' all day!!
Sunday came quickly after slipping into a coma at the hotel and the 2.5 hour drive home was spent singing and talking about our own wedding plans.
I fell asleep on the patio that night, with a glass of wine in my hand. I am still trying to decide if this is exactly how I wish every weekend would go, or if actually I should prepare to be medicated if every weekend were like this. :-)

Renee and Joe are down right hilarious. I mean, I can't even tell you the entertainment their wedding guests received Saturday evening. They played every wedding line dance, the chicken dance, and even had guests doing the worm. Joe had a heart felt dance with his mother, and Renee with her two brothers. There was no shortage of emotion for anyone within an earshot of the dance floor that night.
Here are a few images, and looking back I am pleased with these, we had a few bumps in the road as far as wedding party formals and such, but I am happy to say that it forced me to go outside of my comfort zone and set up some shots that I don't think I would have visioned otherwise, and much to my pleasure, I love the diversity it gave my portfolio!!! Thank you guys, for being such a fun and energetic group!!!
