Restless, weathered and inspired.

The rain comes, the clouds continue and the sun is no where to be found. My spirits are restless. I cannot wait for a nice, warm, sunny day to get a lovey-dovey, little perky couple out frolicking in the grass! But, never the less, its Ohio and its raining.
So, this morning sitting at my desk, re-processing old work, with better techniques, googling, and pandora mixing, I decided I was extremely restless. Daft Punk came on, so I jumped up and started dancing, 'night at the roxburry' style. My cats and Justin thought I was crazy. After about 60 seconds had passed and my heart beat was rising I realized, this is awesome. And no matter what my neighbors and my menagerie of animals may think, I am sooo doing this. Everyday.

This pic is fitting, beach, dancing, craziness...
and, the after shot!

So, since Justin and I went to Jasmine Star's presentation in Akron a few weeks ago, I've been inspired. I feel like hearing her talk about her story, and how she came into being, has really helped me guide and direct the goals of my business. I feel like she will prove to be the driving force in constantly reminding me to be just that, myself. Which is something I have no problem with in my social life, my friends and family will be the first to tell you, I am not never afraid of being myself, speaking my mind and doing things my way. But when it comes to getting a business off the ground, that's easier said than done. So, digressing back to my point, since Justin and I went to see J*, I've been racking my brain for purposeful and meaningful blog post ideas. And, this is what I decided. Today, the Daft Punk dance party was meaningful, ya know why? Because, its totally me. And I want everyone to know that! So, if it serves no other purpose besides giving a reader a laugh, then I'm perfectly happy with that. Tomorrow, I might post about scrambled eggs, or it may be about my lack of ability to articulate my previsualizations to clients. You'll just have to come back tomorrow to find out.
