A couple of did you knows...

So yesterday, a fellow photographer posted a "did you know" fb status. Rebecca-Cerasani-Photography is a great photographer out of Georgia. Her post flicked on a light bulb in my little brain, because just the night before at dinner, I was talking about being at a wedding all day and my family was surprised at how many hours I cover. So, here is another one of my infamous lists!!

Did you know:
1. It takes a few hours to transfer all the wedding images from the cameras to the computer.
2. A typical wedding day coverage usually lasts about 10 hours or more. (Traditional weddings)
3. Family portraits are the most stressful moment of my entire day.
4. The photographer spends more time with the bride on the wedding day than anyone else. (So you better like who you choose!!)
5. If you don't use a first look as a moment of alone-time with your groom, the first moment you get to actually be alone is the first dance. That's about 4-5 hours into the coverage of the day.
6. Photographers hope you take the complimentary engagement session because it allows us to get to know you, with the camera!
7. Photographers also don't really eat during a day of coverage. We pack protein bars and lots of sugar in our packs. We eat dinner if one is provided, in a matter of 2-3 minutes, and then get back to work.
8. We want you to have a wedding planner, they serve as an ally to us, and take some of the weight off of our shoulders throughout the day.
9. In my experience, since we live in Ohio and shooting happens on Saturdays (and the occasional Friday or Sunday) processing of the full days images should never take more than a month to get to you.
10. I stress about my outfit for the day almost as much as if I were in the wedding. Comfort or style, colors and pattern or all black....soo many decisions!!

Happy Monday!!!
